Do a Google search on "The Case For Doing Nothing" and you'll find a good handful of economists who disagree.

Nearly every major country in the world put together a stiumulus package when the economic crisis threatened. The vast majority of economists in this country said stimulus was the way to go.....in fact, many wanted the US to go bigger. So then, what happens when you do a search titled 'stimulus vs doing nothing'? The usual suspects appear from the party of NO:
