Your opinion is definitely not the "consensus" among "almost all economists, left, right, and center." Funny you put consensus in quotes, when I didn't say that. That is truly "putting words in my mouth". "Almost all" is true.

Nearly every major country in the world put together a stiumulus package when the economic crisis threatened. The vast majority of economists in this country said stimulus was the way to go.....in fact, many wanted the US to go bigger. So then, what happens when you do a search titled 'stimulus vs doing nothing'? The usual suspects appear from the party of NO: google.com You all are like dragging a ball and chain around one's leg.
