He is gonna be more upset soon. Obama spread on Gallup is at its closest on record +7%. 51 to 44...

PRINCETON, NJ -- Barack Obama's latest job approval rating is 51%, according to Aug. 23-25 Gallup Daily tracking. Should his rating continue its downward trend and fall below 50%, he would -- like most post-World War II presidents -- have less-than-majority approval at some point in his presidency. However, Obama, in his eighth month in office, could hit this mark in a shorter time than has typically been the case. If his rating falls below 50% before November, it would represent the third-fastest drop to below majority approval since World War II, behind the declines for Gerald Ford (in his third month as president) and Bill Clinton (in his fourth month).

plus an interesting comment from that article:

May I suggest that we all start using the term "GOVERNMENT OPTION" versus the Nancy Pelosi term, "PUBLIC OPTION" when speaking of/writing about ObamaCare.

We would be fools to do otherwise.

I was watching Sean Hannity last night with guest Frank Luntz, the pollster. He counseled Sean to use that language because polls show that there is a significant increase in negative reaction amongst voters to the term "government" option versus "public" option, which is by its nature something of a nebulous term (designed as such by the likes of Nancy Pelosi, et al.).

Sean said he was going to follow his advice; look for him to be doing that.

In actuality, this is IMPORTANT stuff!

Nancy Pelosi knows EXACTLY what's she doing when she utters those words; she's substituting the word "public" for the more logical, but politically troublesome word, "government." Let's not let her get away with that.

I'm someone who has personally done extensive political field work at the grassroots level, involving one-on-one contact with tens of thousands of people over a period of about ten years.

This experience gave me a solid sense of how voters think.

I can sum it up with this: voters think in sound bites. The vast majority of them are not wonks.

They need crisp language from us that sticks in their minds.

I would therefore STRONGLY advise all conservatives to take charge of the language in this current debate by following Dr. Luntz's advice.

"GOVERNMENT OPTION": It's a SURE WINNER that, I believe, could perhaps significantly improve our chances of defeating ObamaCare!

It will make Nancy Pelosi cringe!
