You value them because they agree with you... ............. There you go again, accusing me of faults that you yourself have just demonstrated a few minutes ago. No, I figure if the vast majority of economists said we were dead meat they were probably right. And it sure looked that way to me... as it did to every objective observer that wasn't blinded by partisan prejudice. Hell everything was failing... nothing like I've ever seen in my life. At least I realize that my opinion is in the minority. I'm not some self-delusional idiot who has to pretend that his opinion is shared by "almost all" economists. I'm not pretending. That's a fact. But hey, I'm sure you got through life by always following the crowd, AMIRITE? I "got through life" (more accurately was successful) by making things make sense. By creating win/win situations. By talking to folks that said "that deal doesn't work for me" and saying "how about if we do this?". I "got through life" doing exactly the opposite of what you guys are doing. I looked for the positive not the negative... and as a result I have done a lot of good commerce, which I think is a good thing.
