I don't have a problem with it either. Matter of fact, I think they should check IDs to make sure the people belong to a particular district.

If my congressman - Jane Harman held a meeting, which so far she's refused to, I'd want only people from the district in the meeting and all outsiders who cause a ruckus arrested.

I think checking IDs by the poll workers during an election is also a good idea. I have to give my signature next to my name when I go into vote. I think the signatures should be compared. Why would anyone object to that?

I don't have a problem with this. I believe that the congresscritters should be talking to and listening to their constituents.

Only problem I have with it is they vote to allow people to vote without showing an ID. So they can vote without one but they can't ask a question. Rather bizarre IMO.
