My post stated that every year FOUR OUT OF TEN pregnancies are terminated by the killing of the egg. You imply that this is the moral equivalent of murder (even though society does not support your belief that the egg is a human person). We know when this intent to do harm becomes sincere and when this "murder" becomes imminent because the woman tells a healing professional that she wishes to kill her egg and that trained professional agrees to aid and abet in this "murder". So my point had nothing whatsoever to do with forcefully intervening against ALL women who are pregnant. It has to do with treating the egg as if it were a human being (as YOU claim it is) and affording it PROTECTIVE CUSTODY from the people who have threatened to kill it. You can't sincerely believe that someone is a human person and then turn your back on the matter when there is powerful evidence that one or several people INTEND to "murder" that person. YES, that attitude is inconsistent and it is COWARDLY, as well. When a human being is threatened with murder and ACTUAL PLANS are hatched, prepared, and detailed to effect that "murder" then society has an obligation to protect the life of that person. It doesn't matter whether that person is black or yellow or male or female or stupid or smart--or an egg. So your tiny speeches are falling flatter than an eggless pancake. "So we are talking about her offspring, not her ova." Nobody is discussing anything with you regarding her offspring. We have been discussing abortion of her ova or egg. You have made the bizarre assertion that the egg is a human being but when pressed to punish or control people threatening the life of that egg you roll over and turnip.
