"Aren't freedom and happiness the greatest treasures of life?" They are great treasures! "It was democracy that made us a great civilized nation, not capitalism!" Well, I will save some time and some breath by not pursuing this too deeply. The only "VALUE" democracy has is majority rule. Nothing in history says that majority has to be either great or civilized. Hitler was elected by majority rule but there are some questions about his civility in certain matters...
