Aside from the fact that I hope we would be too proud to take it, I think the best any of us can hope for is that the feds return the same amount to each state that they collect. That would help. I'll bet we could find lots of uses for that money; this map is a bit old, but 21 cents for Arnie to spend on us for every dollar Uncle Sam takes to DC? Sweet. That's a coincidence; NY gets 21 cents, too. O Man will love it; Ill will make out like a bandit. Maybe Palin can do some fundraisers to make up Alaska's shortfall.
