Re: "According to the Gallup Poll, the Prophet Obama's job approval is now at its lowest since his coronation. It began at 70%. Now it is at 51%."

Yep!

It's relatively easy for a politician to stay popular... just don't take on anything challenging.

Still, there is this little bit of political history to ponder:

As the Gallup officials point out, Obama is in danger of falling below the 50 percent job approval mark with American voters. (He's at 51 percent here in late August.)

So who were the last two presidents who fell quickly below that magical mark?

Ronald Reagan after 10 months of his first term in 1980 and Bill Clinton after four months of his first term in 1992.

Notice the pattern?

I agree with that joker about the incompetence of this Whitehouse.

They are ALL over the place on stuff. On healthcare they just handed it off to Congress and told them to slap something together. They should have put their OWN bill together FIRST and then worked on "offensive positions" and "defensive positions" on EACH part of it. They should have started with positions the Republicans WOULD have supported and gotten their public statements on those. When you have 4 different bills out there you're just inviting folks to dig through all of them and find the most vulnerable parts. That's exactly what they did and that's why this thing has just been dragged down into this mess.

What surprises me is that Rham Emmanuel allowed all this stuff to happen. He got those "centrists" elected in conservative districts but he didn't seem to realize that they were STILL centrists.
