I wish someone would do a break down of where all the money went. Medicare, Social Securtity, and Defense are probably responsible for most of the deficits...My dad laughs ( he's 86 ) , back in the 60's he put in $600 a year into SS, he gets $1110 a month now...I suppose the WW 2 and Korean generations have made out like bandits on social programs. The docs and medical community are at the trough too....I'd like to see the average payout grandma and grandpa receive before they give up the ghost...Military spending, the USS Cole costs ONE BILLION, the same amount as the new Cowboys stadium. It costs $250 million to repair that 40 foot hole in her side. It appears government spending has broken the bank. Lots of folks have benefited from the spending spree ( not me, I've been paying the freight)
