After 9/11, the press practically wanted to have SEX with Bush. It was unseemly. They blindly and uncritcally pimped his Iraq war and every ludicrous WMD and AQ claim. During the war, the "embedded" reporters pimed our brave soldiers, completely ignoring their mandate to report the big picture. They were a wholly-owned subsidiary of our military.

So what? They're right on this. The media totally helped the Bush admin in the march to war on Iraq, and didn't realize the emperor had no clothes until Katrina. There's plenty of historical evidence all over the web.
