Check Medicare and tell me about other "private plans" and then tell me where they get funding..

A "private plan" is a written agreement between you and the provider who has decided not to provide services through Medicare. The private contract only applies to the services provided by the doctor who asked you to sign it. If you go into contract with a doc Medicare won't pay any amount you get from this doctor. You will have to pay. Said doctor must tell you if Medicare would pay for the service if you got it from another doctor who accepts Medicare.

PPO's and HMO's plus a few others are included in MA plans.

I think Kennedy was SUCH a great Senator, he should have his own library. He had more impact than several presidents with libraries. What do you think, Dave?

At the very least he should have a memorial on the national mall in Washington.
