darrell, anything apparent on a chart (to me) is usually wrong or sometimes perceived early enough that it's still just wrong. I developed this among many other insights trading cattle futures. I highly recommend the practice to anyone wishing to develop an immunization to pain and a true sense of how consistently one can be so wrong. As to the importance of the Nikkei, as discussed earlier, the Japanese commercial banks are near to insolvent and count their stock holdings as reserve capital. Small wonder the locals have no interest.
