I wouldn't have committed $23.7 trillion to wall st for starters

we're still going to see 500 banks go under while wall st. records record bonuses thanks to Bush-Bama.

Peter, if YOU had been elected President THIS year rather than Obama, WHAT would YOU have done to get the deficit in line???????

I would not have proposed massive spending increases nor wasting trillions of dollars on government control of the healthcare sector.

If you have read my posts over the lat few years we have interacted you know that I am a fiscal conservative. I understand that Washington wants to spend more each year. Democrats call a massive increase a cut.

TELL me HOW you would have avoided these deficits we are going to be running..

It has been satisfactorily proven that tax increases never generate nearly the taxes they are designed to. It has also been proven that tax cuts grow the economy and generate significantly more tax revenue than static scoring (CBO) projects.

I would not propose massive new tax cuts, just eliminating some of the special interest tax loopholes. To get the economy going I probably would have proposed freezing the last round of minimum wage hikes. The economy always takes 18 roughly months to digest the recessionary force of a minimum wage hike. Stopping a recessionary force would help the economy now.

Also getting rid of double taxation of income would be a priority. Eliminating the Capital Gains tax would free up significant capital that Obamanomics is going to freeze into a investments suitable for the last decade and not the next.

Basicly, I'm asking you how Obama could have avoided economic disaster and still NOT be looking at major budget deficits?

Not spend like a score of drunken sailors.
