Annenberg, Pew, Ford, Heinz - the guys in these families who made big bucks were, I believe, either conservative or Republican, but established big charitable foundations which in time were captured and subverted by parasitic liberal administrators who then use the fortunes established to further the cause of liberalism. Thats pretty despicable and reason enough to oppose the death tax which creates these foundations in the first place. Another thought I got from reading the Belmontclub's comments.

Only one democrat I know has ever even mentioned tort reform. And Howard Dean just mentioned it as off limits to democrats by virtue of the fact that they are owned by trial lawyers.

Brumar...........I'm sorry you have to ask and answer your own questions. The previous post of bits and pieces and analysis of LBs post were incredibly informative and educational. As are most all of your posts.
