"It is not I, but rather Rand and Greenspan who misunderstand capitalism"

It is certainly not Rand who misunderstands it. That is silly. She was fully aware that it wasn't being practiced. For her it simply meant that people had freedom and rights that neither individuals nor governments could erase. Put in the most simple language: VALUES ARE TRADED, NOT COERCED.

Let ne explain the Capitalism of Rand: I have a painting. You want it. I can sell it to you, l can trade it to you, or I can GIVE IT TO YOU....but you cannot use force to possess it. That goes for YOUR paintings and your DAUGHTERS paintings--and for EVERYTHING which you value and which IS YOURS.

Now what would you like to change about that value??

"It is the best too for determening the proper price of things."

It is the best tool for determining how things may be exchanged ethically so that rights and freedom remain fundamental as the edifice of human interaction.
