Aunt Mary is staying with a friend. I don't think she had time to get much. Her place is a couple of blocks from the wilderness area...and downhill from it. I think she's going to be ok.

they probably evacuated to make sure that the streets are clear for fire fighters.

apparently the fire is much closer to aunt mary than I thought. Less than 1/4 mile.

there are two residential block between Aunt Mary's home and the fire.
