If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress. I hope people show up and vote this way two Novembers from now... The problem is, and has always been, that Americans want to throw out everyone else's legislators, but consistently vote to keep their own. That's why term limits would be such an effective counter to that tendency, and why Congress critters have fought tooth and nail to keep them off the table.
