Now argue the opposing view..cut his thoughts on health care for ALL American citizens, without financial ruin, to shreds .

What I heard was the cry of rich, liberal guilt.

Nonetheless, I take his point that no one should be bankrupted by a medical event. The answer for that is cheap or even free catastrophic insurance coverage. It's pretty simple, really. If the proposal were directed at providing that, it would get my support.

If my heavy drinking day in day out cause my brain cancer should I demand that my fellow taxpayers bail me out ? I mean is it my fault this caused me to go bankrupt ?
