I lived in SF for most of eleven years (some time off back to the Pasadena area and some time in Alabama in there). I don't recall a single big fire from '81 to '92. of course I was there for that big earthquake. That was something else. And in all the years in Southern Cal, only that one in Angeles Forest. minor ones, yes... like all the minor earthquakes. so I know it's not just living far away now and the news always shows it. I was there all that time. in southern and northern cal from '72 to '92. something is up. needs to stop.

yes, there were the minor fires. then the mudslides. that is part of life there. but not this stuff.
