If you go to Google Earth and put in Mt. Wilson, Acton and Little Tujunga, you'll get something of an idea how big the fire is. The Mt Wilson Observatory is 100 years old and the fire is creeping up on it. They're throwing everything they've got to try and save it. They're saying that the soonest they can get it contained is September 15!!! Also, the new fire in Oak Glen: if you find that on Google Earth and then put in Forest Falls, you'll see how close they are and the fire is burning in the direction of Forest Falls - where we used to live and where you were trapped in the playhouse by a bear in the backyard.
