I think choose's point is that what are we to do when there is a permanent damage to a patient's health. My point is that the business of health care provision should be regulated just like they regulate drug and food companies.

Palin is talking about "pulling the plug on grandma" by the Govt. There are numerous such events done not by the Govt but by private hospitals due to negligence not by design.

noooooooooo, I'm not. I apologize if my wording sounds that way. I do think I pointed out that mistakes are made. and they are. and those are mistakes. but when lives are ruined, we need some recourse to help those people deal with the futhre... not to punish someone who made a mistake, but to assist the affected person.
