Bosurf- I think we live in a intertwinned world- the cross border transactions have made funds vulnerable to losses sustained in other parts of the world- last time we rode on back of RUT and Nasdaq- I see that stars of Nasdaq and Rut may not fly with same speed for me in this intertwinned world it is good to now keep a verey balanced approach-Nekkei needs to consolidate here as well as HSI we need a bottom here otherwise the global financial system gets weakened- now although we are not invested in HSI and Japan the problem is that they are our trading partners- equity markets slide results inevitably in slow down and if the slide is a major crash you have problem on hand as aggregate demands slows- for an economy like USwhich was on the verge of overheating it is good but we need stability and proper funtioning of global markets they all are interrelated- In my opinion this correction on a global scale has provided markets a jolt and any move forward will be more cautious and prone to swings.
