"The problems of our economy have occurred not as an outgrowth of laissez-faire, unbridled competition. They have occurred under the guidance of federal agencies, and under the umbrella of federal regulations." LOL! I'd say many of the problems and inefficiencies occurred as a consequence of those regulations. Same is certainly true about healthcare. Find me a moderate size hospital which does NOT employ hundreds of people who's job it is to deal with regulations and bureaucracy.
