There can be no monopoly without government collusion with the monopolists. The lead based paint example is perfect to explain why big business loves big regulation.

You have bought into the liberal propaganda that private business is evil and detrimental to society with purpose. The question is........are you willing to hand total control over to a bunch of govt employees that have proven they can't run the mail service, SS or Medicare let alone public health care. Talk about detrimental! To a govt bureaucracy that pays $350 for a screwdriver? To a govt agency that profits by assessing a fee for a so called "service." A "service" that most people did not ask for. And talk about Monopoly! I distrust that form of enterprise much more than I do a company run by my neighbor. And I certainly distrust the people behind the curtain of control. Their agenda does not benefit me........it punishes me.
