The greatest pres. of the last century was FDR. Indisputably, without question. Not even a shred of doubt about it.

He was a great wartime president, but he prolonged the Depression which caused a great deal of personal suffering and misery. He also started Social Security and Unemployment Compensation which have become massively failed social programs. In addition, he was responsible giving the unions power which has led to one economic problem after another, culminating with the collapse of GM and Chrysler making (and making the wards of the state under Obama).

There is just too much stuff FDR messed up, even though his leadership during the war was indisputably great.

For this reason he rates a distant third by any RATIONAL analysis, after Reagan and TR.
