<<I told my wife I'd probably have to help out when I heard his diagnosis. But turned out not to be necessary. After his death, he turned out to be not as destitute as thought. My Mom paid his final medical bills out of his estate with plenty left over.>>

By the above, it sounds like he was gaming the system ...getting reduced charges on his medical bills,""... he petitioned his doctors and hospital, provided copies of tax returns showing little income, and they cut their rates ..."" by lying that he was destitute.

Allways, ride on the backs of others that are paying the exorbitant rates, so he can ride for free.It is good that there was plenty left over , but would there have been if he paid the going rate?

When you quote me... quote the whole thing..for the complete idea.

""It does not matter if Kennedy slept with J E hoover... it would have nothing to do with the subject at hand ...""

Discussing Kennedy's points of view on health care , has nothing to do with whether he was a lush, slept with JE hoover or got away with manslaughter.

I posted his "health care for all "speech from 31 years ago for rebuttal here, but no one has risen to the challenge to refute what he said.

I guess he must have been right on the mark regarding health care.

Hear it is again in case you got your mute speakers working.
