This is where it gets tricky. FLA is getting less and less people who are paying a full load of property taxes thanks to FLA's prop 13 like law. That means less revenue. Funny there was an article in the paper the other day... the people who have benefited (like me) from "Save Our Homes" (our prop 13) are getting tax increases this year, while the people that bought durning the bubble are getting tax cuts based on valuation. It doesn't undo the inequity by a long shot but it is a little help. How long do you think it will before McMannis starts to blame Obama? McMannis loves it that people are leaving Florida. As a native, he thinks anyone from any of the other 49 states is an illegal immigrant. And don't get him started on other countries....
