>> When they are no longer allowed to get the medical treatment they want, they'll be sorry.

I disagree. They'll never be sorry.

They aren't sorry for unemployment compensation, which 70 years later provides an incentive for unemployed people NOT to seek work (I talked with a guy who's on unemployment today, and he said, "Why the hell would I want to go to work? If I did, they'd just hold what I make out of my unemployment benefits." Swear to God).

They aren't sorry for Medicare which, while being a great benefit for the elderly, has left the country in a financially untenable position. They aren't sorry for Social Security which has done the same. They aren't sorry for Medicaid which has decimated the states budgets.

They aren't sorry for the creation of one government bureaucracy after another which has sucked the life blood from our economy.

I don't think they'll be sorry. Because they won't admit they did it. In the end, they'll be trying to lay it off on others, just as surely as Barack Obama has blamed every conceivable ill America faces on his predecessor, GWB.

Where does the buck stop? Never on the desk of The Left. Never.

Supermarkets are not too busy. Tow trucks are not too busy. Taxis are not too busy. They work day and night.

I think I was one of the first among docs in private practice to leave my cell phone number on my office answering machine. It worked beautifully, for many years.... Just think about it - thousands of people could get my cell phone number at any moment, and yet, most evenings and nights I wouldn't receive a single call. My patients really treated me very thoughtfully and nicely, I still appreciate that. 95-98% of the time when they called me, it was for a good reason.

Having good, mutually respectful relationships with one's... customers is good... capitalism. Must be harder to do this if the doc works not for a multitude of bosses - the patients - but for one single boss, a Tsar in Washington.
