EC, no there is an Aug 31 filing on Sedar and Stockwatch.

at the end of this post are a few highlights i posted on SH in response to a poster who is trying to talk it down for lower priced shares.

he's trying to convince the herd that no permits will be issued until the national mining company is finalized. several companies have received permits lately, and NOT from the new state mining company.

also see another poster said he heard FDN drilling will start withing 2 weeks. will call Kinross tomorrow to see if they have the final permits in hand. talked to them a few weeks back and they said "any day now".

they are working on Condor too. i remember the massive gold intercepts on Condor from when i was trading GML (the old EC before the new management team and the share structure clean up).

traded GML from the .30's to over a buck and that was before they got the land next to FDN. we are now at about .085 cents in GML terms. so a bit of room for upside imo.

read the new mgmt and BOD bios. got to wonder what these guys are doing in a Venture stock. they obviously don't need the salaries like most Venture paper printers.

from the Aug 31, 2009 Sedar MD&A

"As of the date of this report, the Water Management Study, Water Use Permit and the Environmental Impact Study and Management Plan have been submitted and approved by regulatory authorities for the Rio Zarza project. The final stage is the Environmental License from the Ministry of Environment, which is issued by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum."

Not the new national mining company as you state.

And also from the filing:

"The Company believes that it will have sufficient financial resources to
meet ongoing level of corporate activities for the ensuing year."

So no more money needed for permits.

more from the filing:

"Events Subsequent to the End of the Reporting Period

• Approval of the Water Permit for Rio Zarza and Condor Gold projects by the Ministry of Environment

• Approval of the Environmental Management Plan for the Condor Gold Project

• Approval of Environmental Impact Assessment study of Rio Zarza project by the Ministry of Environment

• Approval of the Environmental Management Plan for the Rio Zarza project by the Ministry of Environment

Planned Activities in Ecuador for July - September 2009

Complete necessary permitting, renew environmental bond, and commence drilling program at Rio Zarza -

initial program forecast to be 1200 metres in three to five holes, with additional drill holes planned depending

on results."

Also interesting to see that they have jv'd the Condor project with the Ecuadorian military:

"The Condor project comprises five mineral tenements in south-eastern Ecuador, four in joint venture with Holding

DINE SA (“DINE”) which is controlled by a military affiliated office of the state of Ecuador (7,124.50 ha) and one

held solely by an Ecometals subsidiary company (960 ha)."
