Peter, I don't criticize Bush for not being "eager" to go to Viet Nam. I was there at that time and I don't remember ANYBODY that was considered "sane" WANTING to go to Viet Nam. I just question all this stuff about Bush "just falling into this Air Guard thing" and then trying to make Kerry's Service seem trivial in comparison. I think Bush is just a Frat Boy without much of a brain and practically NO real integrity. I don't have a real high opinion of Obama either, I was always rooting for Hillary in this last election. I DO have a pretty high opinion of McCain though and if you research my posts on him I think I spoke rather highly of him.
