I understand the rationale, but the mechanics baffle me.
Why would anyone loan tradable (long) shares to a short
to drive down the price, unless there was an "understanding" ?
OK, enough of this, guess I need to bone up on "hedge funds"
(what a misnomer).

Karl,
Agree 100%, when earnings are solid and documentable, shorts will begin to dry up. Until then, it's our belief that the upside is on the way vs. 'theirs' that something will go wrong. CD income is pivotal here. It should be a major contributor to NOI beginning next qtr.
