Hello Scott, I'll lay of the Hummer vehicle and the jet until next quarterly earnings. I still believe that regardless of how cheap it is to fly employees back and fouth between the two campuses on a leased aircraft, NOVL must find ways of reducing costs and consolidation of the two buildings is a step in the right direction. Regarding doing business in Silicon Valley vs Provo, I'll refrain from making any strong comments as to which is a better place to do business. Our Dr. I believe would be a good candidate for a Chief Technology Officer but not as a CEO. These Ph.D types in Computer Science just don't have the knack for resolving business problems...they are best left to deal with technical issues surrounding operating systems, programming languages or that realted to database design. I believe our Dr. has self interests and is the reason he took on the job as CEO. His resume would look very imressive with CEO showing as the title and who knows...maybe even a promotion when he returns to SUNW if JAVA based applications designed by NOVL flop. He knows nothing about shareholder concerns or how to present himself to financial analysts. To date, he has done nothing to convince the street that his plan is on schedule. Why has he not revealed the expected sales of BorderManager ? Is it because the figure is too low. With NOVL a potential takeover candidate, he should be bragging about BorderManager as a runaway success. Our Dr. was hired by the old BOD who themselves are still around influencing his decisions one way or another. Get rid of all old BOD memeber and demote the Dr. to Chief Technical Officer. Thats where he belongs. On a seperate topic, the NOVL chart is heading up in comparison to other charts i.e MSFT, INTC, DELL, CPQ etc... which are heading down. I am long NOVL and expect to remain so until it strikes $12 1/2. Good luck on your investments.
