I'll call him a "sorry soul" and would not think twice about maligning him for "leaching off his patents for his entire life." and your health care system.

The "sorry souls" are everywhere and it seems progressive modern counties just seem to look after the "sorry souls."It is hidden in the tax code.<g>

I considered him that my entire life. I don't know what caused it and I never understood it. I also consider his gayness and his liberalness as being part of it.

You miss the point, "the tip of the ice berg " refers to all those who are well enough off to afford the very expensive health care premiums that provide excellent coverage

Okay, there are only 47M people w/o health insurance in the US which means there are over 250M people like me. All health coverage in America provides reasonably decent coverage even medicare and medicaid. Of the 47M, about 12M are illegal aliens, millions more qualify for medicaid and simply haven't signed up, .... I could go on and on, but what you and Kennedy're calling the tip of the iceberg is huge - the vast majority.

I have nothing against Canadians. My nextdoor neighbors are Canadian. I just don't want to remake our health care system to match Canada's or anyone elses.
