IBD apologized for their error....but as it turns out, the facts are that a great part of Hawking's care was not provided by NHS....

More importantly, even if IBD, a private publication was incorrect in that instance.....how would that excuse Speaker Pelochio's lies?

Speaker Pelosi's treacherous lies & adamant refusal to retract them in the face of overwhelming evidence she's dead wrong has caused incalculable harm to this country & many brave, innocent people. So what does she do? She has the unmitigated gall to call protestors of Obamacare at town hall meetings "un-American", ET. AL.

Unlike Speaker Pelosi & the MSM*, as jlallen already pointed out to you, Investor's Business Daily quickly & very publicly acknowledged their error. They openly apologized to Steven Hawking & for their error. They then accurately set the record straight so no one should have been misinformed.

Apparently your source intentionally misled you about those critical facts even though they has been part of the public record for 3 or so weeks now.

Now I'm wondering if we can expect you to act more like the Speaker Pelosi, the MSM or Investor's Business Daily?

* The MSM regularly gets significant facts wrong particularly when the misinformation fits their leftist world view. Quite often they repeat these grossly inaccurate statements in the headlines for weeks or months [and it is repeated globally]. Making matters worse, they rarely inform the public of these huge errors [no, it matters little that, long after the fact, they sometimes post a weakly worded correction, on a Saturday morning, buried in the 12th paragraph of a recipe for dog chit brownies].

It only gets worse. The MSM regularly misinforms the public when it comes pushing their liberal narrative. They do it all. Everything from one sided liberal slant all the way to calumny & outright lies even when their narrative is not supported by easily accessible facts & overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Given your interest in Steven Hawking's alleged great medical care under England's health care system, you may be interested in these tidbits;

....Hawking, in response to a query from London's Guardian newspaper that was apparently prompted by our editorial, was quoted Tuesday as saying: "I wouldn't be here today if it were not for the NHS. I have received a large amount of high-quality treatment without which I would not have survived."

We accept this testimony and good fortune. We will note, however, that in talking about his disability on his own Web site, Hawking makes no mention of NHS and instead says that since 1985, when he had a tracheotomy, he has had "24-hour nursing care . . . made possible by several foundations."

Many other Britons may not be as fortunate, and we wonder how they might fare under similar circumstances in their later years. For example....
