** BOEING CO. (BA: 47-1/16, - 3/8) will get an order for up to $3 billion worth of
jets from China in a long-awaited deal that illustrates the complexities of doing business
with the world's most populous nation. Chinese officials traveling with President Jiang
Zemin will sign the deal with Boeing Chairman Phil Condit as U.S. Commerce
Secretary William Daley looks on at a ceremony in Washington. After meeting with
Jiang Wednesday, President Bill Clinton said China would order 50 Boeing jets worth
