You will like Glenn Yarbrough. He sang a lot of songs with lyrics by Rod McKuen. Rod McKuen wrote a lot of poems about San Francisco.

I met Glenn Yarbrough when he gave a concert in Juneau, live with recorded instrumental music. It was great.

When I shook his hand, I said "Missoula Montana, 1964, Limeliters." He says: "Nobody is that old." And autographed my album (I Could Have Been a Sailor).

Very short man, but lovely voice.

The Limeliters was a folk trio, and I had attended one of their concerts when I was in college. It was side-splitting hilarious.

Here's a discussion thread I started years ago. I found out I had misspelled their name, as it's Limeliters, not Limelighters.
