Obama has caused damage simply by advocating cap and trade, signing off on bloated budgets and stimulus bills, and pushing his healthcare program, which will add trillions to the national debt. Massive tax increases are threatened. All of this has effectively stopped employers from hiring or expanding their businesses and has caused consumers to spend less. The people (with a brain anyway) see no real plan for addressing the economic future of the country. Instead they see an administration full of amateurs, ideologues and big centralized government advocates. And that's just on the economic front. When you start adding in Obama's apology tour, war on the CIA, assault on the first amendment via snitch websites, incomprehensible goals in Afghanistan, and absolute tin ear when it comes to his free expenditure of taxpayer funds to go on dates......well, no wonder the mood of the country is deflated.
