Like I said, half of the legals are immigrants.

When it comes to workers making minimum wage, there isn't that much of a difference between illegal and legal immigrants. They all get hired by the same employers, most get paid under the table (you would have to for illegals, but legals also take it), and for the most part they accept it.

Again, why do they take it? Are they really "wage slaves" as liberal elitists like to call them, or are they just pursuing better opportunities than what's available in their home countries?

Those are the kind of questions the study didn't ask, much less the mainstream media.
