The no-man's land around the border of China and North Korea is one of the more underreported crises of human rights out there.

But a silver lining in this whole hostage crisis is that the free world now knows what the two women risked their lives for. Maybe they'll start paying more close attention to the area. Obviously North Korea is; they really don't like defectors going to the outside world and telling people how bad things are.

By the way, it's interesting that you bring up Burma, even if it was to express your desire to leave Americans who wander over there to their fates. There are lots of similarities between Burma and North Korea, the biggest being that they are both poor, destitute countries who have dickless bastards running them. It should be no surprise that North Korea and Burma are joining forces.
