I've talked to some grid managers...specifically in Texas. They freakin HATE wind. Totally unpredictable and it has caused energy emergencies repeatedly because they had to give priority to wind which meant that coal and NG plants were put in standby modes and when the wind died.....no power. And you can't just flip a switch at a coal or NG plant and bring the plant online.

It's all feelgood crap for people who don't understand the reality of what turns the lightbulb on in their home.

It's kinda like a good steak. Tastes good, but you've got to kill a cow to get it.

The only person who I remember really embracing a green lifestyle was Ted Kaczinski. There was a man true to his principles. Too bad about that sociopathic bent toward bombing innocent people.

So you actually know what you're talking about, as opposed to these green people.

Wind and solar are just feel good options...for the greentards.

arno!

nice to see you posting again....

i drove through the fine state of kansas several months ago, and found eyes being insulted by a field of windmills that went for what seemed like miles.....(interestingly most weren't moving)

how's that working out for you guys?
