seems like 3 options:

1) commercials knock down gold and cover their shorts

2) gold rises and commercials further increase shorts, eventually looking for major covering when gold undergoes reaction

3) commercials are driven to cover as prices rise, fuelling further increase in gold price

seems like 3 is most likely, given todays breakout...unless the breakout is a bull trap...in any case we should know before long....but im still holding...
