The Tesla was turning a 12.5 second quarter, so it was pretty impressive. I think the rest were pretty much pathetic.

Electric drag racers should be the way to go. Electric motors produce full torque as soon as they are powered up. The only noise would be the tires smoking. A pre-loaded big capacitor could deliver tons of power long enough to get it a 1/4 mile.
