We need wireless power transmission - yet to be invented :)

Incorrect there is wireless power transmission, but it is not used because it is expensive and harmful. A high powered microwave can be uses to transmit power, but anybody or any bird flying through it will be fried. We have fusion reactors that have worked, but only by using up more energy than produced. We will likely have experimental fusion reactors that can produce more energy than inputed to start the reaction in the next year to five years. It will take at least another 10 years after that to have several fusion reactors providing power to the public.

I think we should run our cars off the energy found in wormholes.

"We need wireless power transmission - yet to be invented"

Niki Tesla built a whole town that had it early last century. If you want YOUR body pummeled constantly with EM radiation 24/7 - go for it! We already KNOW how to do it.

For fun, take a fluorescent tube under some high tension lines and watch it light up! Same principle.
