><>...Hi Ronald, you also said:...><> >>"First there is this perception that Christ is one with God and God is one with Christ. That Jesus is God and vis versa. If one was to read the bible instead of the words of the Bible one would see that they are 2 entirely different entities.">> Jesus Himself teaches: John 10:27-31 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one . 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. John 10:37-39 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him . 39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, The Pharisees did not receive this teaching, but instead desired to kill Him. John 14:9-11 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me , Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father ; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Are you saying that we also should not interpret this statement of our Lord's as truth.Should we interpret it as meaning something else? If so what? I dare say Ronald it seems more than just a perception . Maybe you are making reference to the different offices which God holds, in that On earth He was also man, and came to earth in a different office . This would be acceptable to discuss. But to say as you have; >>"First there is this perception that Christ is one with God and God is one with Christ. That Jesus is God and vis versa . it seems as though you are saying that Jesus is not God and that it is just a perception.... Or...Am I misreading your statement? Would you elaborate further? It would be helpful. Have a good day Shalom...><>
