This spectacle is taking place not far from where the big fire is and where the police force and other city services are really needed - a real emergency. The Glendale police chief was on the news saying how proud he was about bringing all the city departments together to guarantee a smooth operation and for "public safety". Then they cut to parking lots filled with news trucks, motor homes, tents, pop-ups, trailers, tables, cameras, etc. Then all the ancillary services such as roach coaches, etc.
