The value of my condo went up INSTANTLY. I've heard that. So I get more when I move because I don't want to live in a gated community. Not a bad deal. Can't put into words why I find it so offensive but I do.

Austin is filled with liberals and they're the ones who want gated communities cause they won't protect themselves. This whole conversation is so unrealistic. You've got one guy who moved all the way to Seattle from LA to get away from a liberal disaster area, Chris talking about gated communities in liberal Austin and CA, and RW bitching about the same in another state filled with liberal retirees from the north.
