WOW! does that ever sound good. We have a really wonderful apple tree on the property. I think it is a Golden Delicious, and I'm telling you those apples make the best cobbler, pie and applesauce I've ever had. We all wait in anticipation for the fruit to ripen. Had to chase off a marauding neighbor two seasons ago and scold him for stealing some (actually a lot) of them. We really like the guy, but geeeeeezzzzzzzzzz he could have asked. We used all we wanted to use last year and so left a nice grocery bag full on his door step. I am really looking forward to putting them up. In fact I really need to get off of my duff and get some fig jam made. A client has a fig tree in her back yard and offered them to us. We stopped by on our way home from Seattle the other day and picked what was left. I need to put them up before they rot. ;)
