Axelturf, no doubt, has an office full of folks churning out letters to the editor.

If you really want to cause some poison pen letters to fly, just write something like this: The question is: Is health care a right, or is it a privilege?

After the flame throwing stops from the left, ask where in the US Constitution say that anything is "free"....The Government is to "provide for the Common Defense", and as we all know, THAT isn't at all free.

The Constitution doesn't tell us that basics like food, clothing, and shelter are free either. And there is nothing in there that says we can steal from others and spread the largess around to those who can't/don't/don't have what they believe they deserve.

That sounds harsh, but I'm pretty sure everyone on this board, and many others, donates their time and money to many charities because we want to help others less fortunate.

And heaven only knows, we all help them (hopefully) everytime we pay taxes, because the Government tells us that they have put many plans in place to safeguard those people who need it (and who also provide a vote to the politicians)....
