BOA has some very smooth personal loan phone solicitors.
But then they'd have to be smooth at 17%.

My Mom used to work for Security Pacific, which got taken over by B of A in 1992. Having heard so many horror stories about B of A from my fellow students at UCSB (it was the only bank in Isla Vista), as well as my Mom, after the merger I moved my Security Pacific account to a credit union. My Mom switched to Wells Fargo.

I'd never bank at B of A.
