I first found out about this on April 15th when I went to the Post Office to mail my tax return and had to go searching for a stamp.

I like my mailman. I can hear him coming for two blocks. Has his radio on high and the windows open.

Has a little cache of doggie treats on his dashboard. My dog runs out to get one if she's outside. Sometimes she is smart enough to get two of them by going to our neighbor's mailbox, which is also in our yard on the cross street.

I disagree with your statement, however. Many government workers work very hard, long hours, and in thankless jobs. I was lucky to have a government job in which I was and felt very productive.
